A breathtaking view over Hamburg and its famous harbour awaits you on the 17th floor of the Holiday Inn Hotel. Surprise your guests with this atmosphere during a spectacular reception – depending on the weather – with appetizers, cocktails or hot spiced wine!

House Running

Only enjoying the view is not exciting enough? What about the most spectacular walk of Hamburg? Starting from our roof-terrace, the path leads down about 45m at right angle. Make use of the House-Running-Station at our hotel to walk the façade. Our event partner “Jochen Schweizer” takes care of the security and instruction of all participants and makes the House-Running to an unforgettable event.

Barge trips

If you haven’t experienced the harbour from the water, you have not been to Hamburg at all! We offer you this event in all imaginable facets, together with our partner “Barkassen-Meyer”. You start your barge trip from the near quay on the Elbe in Entenwerder and pass through the famous Speicherstadt (old-warehouse district), the architectural futuristic Hafencity (a newly build district of Hamburg) and the overseas harbour. Why not combine your barge trip with a stop in one of the cosy fish restaurants on the fish market in the early evening? Fortified by a hearty meal you return to the hotel via the waterway. Or you spend the whole evening on the water and celebrate a down-to-earth board party on one of the barges (20-36 persons) or on one of the larger passenger ships (50-130 persons).
If you wish to visit the fish market on an early Sunday morning, an adequate arrival with one of the barges is a must. We organize this for you!
