- at motorway junction Hamburg-Süd direction Centrum (A255)

get into the right lane over the Elbbrücken bridges

- after the Elbe bridges, take the first exit towards Rothenburgsort onto Billhorner Röhrendamm

- first traffic light turn right Billhorner Mühlenweg, 300m straight ahead entrance to HI Hamburg

Arrival via the A7 / A23 – from Flensburg, Kiel, Itzehoe, Elmshorn

- Exit Stellingen, direction Elbbrücken on Kieler Straße (B4) approx. 5 km straight ahead

- turn left into Stresemannstraße (B4)

- follow the (B4) straight ahead (Budapester Str., Ludwig-Erhard-Str.)

- behind the Deichtorhallen turn right into Amsinckstraße

- follow Amsickstraße (B4) in the direction of the Elbbrücken bridges

- just before Elbbrücken turn right towards Rothenburgsort, cross under the bridge

- turn right at the first traffic lights into Billhorner Mühlenweg, 300 m straight ahead
